Q: Is your photobooth service based around an actual photo booth?
Short answer? No. We've found at multiple events that our staffed photobooths are a lot more fun, and allow us to provide images of higher quality at the same time. For our photobooths, we set up a mobile photo studio at your event and staff it with a dedicated photobooth photographer for the duration of your event. Also, with every photobooth we do, we can bring fun props and toys for no extra charge, which really helps people let loose and make some fun pictures! Whenever we do a photobooth, we definitely recommend the props.
Q: Do you print photos at your photobooth?
We do not offer prints as a standard part of our photobooth service. At the event, party guests and photobooth participants are given a slip of paper with a web address where they can find the photos after the event. At the end of the event, we provide a disc of high res images usable for making prints, and can even print a separate photobooth book after the event (additional).
We're always happy to shoot on location. In fact, it's all we do! For engagement and portrait sessions, we're happy to go to your home, your favorite park or the important landmarks in your relationship. Let us know what you have in mind regarding locations and we'll try our best to make it happen! If you're looking for formal studio portaits, often we can bring our portable studio to your home or office, and have access to professional rental studios if the job calls for it.
With our online print ordering, we make ordering prints EASY! We don't sell drug-store prints. All of our prints are printed by top-notch, professional photo printing companies with decades of experience, and we're able print everything from standard matte and glossy prints up to canvas and metallic prints, as well as custom postcards, holiday cards and more! If you'd rather handle printing yourself, we provide a disc of high-resolutions images with every one of our sessions/packages, and written permission to print our pictures for personal use.
If you'd like to publish our photos in any way, we're happy to hear it! Please contact us ahead of time for permission, however.
With every session and photo package we offer, we include a disc of high-resolution images for printing, as well as a disc of low-resolution images suitable for online use (email, Facebook, etc.)
Q: What happens after the shoot is done and the images are delivered to you?
We archive all of our past shoots in multiple locations, so if you need to order prints again or need another copy of the disc, it's not an issue. We archive past photoshoots indefinitely, but guarantee our data for a period of one year from the shoot date. We keep redundant copies in multiple locations to make sure the photos are safe.
When we arrive at an event or photo session, you can rest easy, knowing we've come prepared with a full array of professional photo equipment to get the job done! We use professional Digital SLR Cameras & Lenses by both Canon and Nikon, and have a good selection of portable and professional lighting and light-modifiers to make sure we're equipped for most situations.
We always, ALWAYS have back-up equipment on-hand to make sure things keep flowing smoothly, even in the event of an accident or equipment malfunction. We even have back-ups for some of our back-up equipment!
In regards to computers and software, we're armed with professional image-editing software from Adobe as well as other leading software makers, and we edit on color-calibrated monitors.
Yes, while this site is tailored towards individuals & consumers, we do offer professional photography and design services to other businesses. Commercial services include photography for advertisements, catalogs, websites, corporate headshots, real estate photography, etc. Contact us if you'd like to discuss a project or view some of our commercial photography and design work.
It's important. Some venues won't let photographers shoot without it, plus it's never bad to have! We're fully insured for business & liability, as well as all of our equipment. If a venue requires a certificate of insurance, let us know as soon as you know. Generally speaking, if we're shooting a venue we're unfamiliar with, we try to contact the venue ahead of time to avoid any last-minute, stress-inducing paperwork.
